Founded on October 14, 1936 by Pierre PANIS, the group "the BERRY" was given for task to collect, preserve, make known the durable values of Arts and Popular Traditions berrichonnes.

Association had like first honorary presidents Aurore SAND, small girl of George SAND and Hugues LAPAIRE, regionalistic poet.

She gathers berrichons and friends of Berry residing in the Paris area, joined together in a common ideal which is to contribute to gather an alive and conclusive documentation of our soil berrichon.

The BERRY proposes to you a programme of short duration in costume berrichon within the framework of animations.

A longer program from 30 to 60 minutes according to circumstances' is also possible.

We invite all impassioned folklore and friends of Berry to come to dance
or to play with us ...to join us
